Arianna Banack and Heather Matthews, two doctoral students from the Center for Children’s and Young Adult Literature, had the unique opportunity to collaborate with a team of literacy experts in compiling an historical literature review for the International Literacy Association.
The ’20 Research Articles for 2020′ represents a massive undertaking of 70+ years of research and provides guidance for designing effective literacy instruction in a hybrid learning environment during the “twin pandemics of COVID-19 and systemic racism.”
The project team was lead by Rachael Gabriel (’10), an alumna from TPTE’s doctoral program.
