TN Behavior Supports Project offers online resources & support for educators & families

Amidst COVID-19, the Tennessee Behavior Supports Project (TBSP) will continue to provide technical assistance to dedicated educators throughout Tennessee.

TBSP staff have created a series of online resources for educators and families to assist with social and behavioral interventions while educating at home.

These include online modules; RTI2-B Twitter chats; virtual office hours where each project will host a weekly virtual office hour for educators to come ask questions, connect, and collaborate; resources for educators for when students return to school; spring and summer remote training opportunities for educators; and tips and tools for families to help their students at home.

Virtual office hours will be offered every Tuesday from 2:00pm – 3:00pm EST. To sign up for virtual office hours, please click on the link here.

Tennessee Behavior Supports Project’s mission is to support schools in providing positive behavioral and social supports for students and staff (referred to as RTI2-B in Tennessee). They provide training, online modules, and downloadables about creating a positive school environment for all students, as well as social and behavioral interventions for groups of students and individual students. The project is divided into three grand regions of Tennessee and three grant sites can provide support to their assigned schools and districts (University of Memphis-Lambuth, Vanderbilt University, University of Tennessee-Knoxville).

TBSP will continue to share information their resources website but make sure to also follow them on social media for resources and information updates!
