Education Major (with Concentrations and Specializations)

The Bachelor of Science in Education undergraduate program is designed to introduce undergraduates to the field of teacher education, and provides a number of program areas and pathways to prepare students for initial licensure and/or for graduate school. Integral to the coursework is social justice, with the goal of preparing culturally competent teachers and interpreters who can provide equitable and quality education for all students.

Education major with elementary education concentration

Education major with elementary education concentration (5-year internship specialization)

Education major with elementary education concentration, ESL education specialization

Education major with elementary education concentration, interventionist special education specialization

Education major with elementary education concentration, middle grades math specialization

Education major with elementary education concentration, middle grades science specialization

Education major with second language education concentration, world language education and English as a second language education specialization

Education major with VolsTeach secondary STEM concentration (middle grades math specialization)

Education major with VolsTeach secondary STEM concentration (middle grades science specialization)
