American Sign Language Minor

The American Sign Language minor at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville  is designed to provide students with a background in American Sign Language and Deaf Culture. It consists of 18 hours of coursework. Although there will be exposure to Deaf education and educational interpreting topics, the minor does not lead to interpreter certification or teacher licensure.
