Congratulations to Kayla Dean, graduating art education intern, and Joy Bertling, assistant professor of art education, on their instructional resource on eco-visualizations in the National Art Education Association‘s (NAEA) flagship journal, Art Education! An image from their work made the cover! Their instructional resource presents several eco-visualization artists, whose visualizations address the welfare of the more-than-human world, disrupting prevailing anthropocentric assumptions, rendering ecological relationships visible, and encouraging involvement in ecological restoration.
