Elementary Education programs are housed in the Department of Theory & Practice in Teacher Education in the College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences. Courses in this program are available to students who have been admitted to a teacher licensure program or graduate education degree program.
Programs lead to Master of Science, Education Specialist, and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Education. Two Master’s programs are available: “Track 1” programs are available for practicing educators seeking the MS degree in Education. “Track 2” refers to programs for students who complete the fifth-year internship leading to elementary (K-6) licensure.
