Aerospace Workshop Details

  • Dates: July 5-19, 2017
  • Time: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm (M-R) / 9:00 am – 12:00 pm (F)
  • Location: 108 Nielson Physics Building and offsite locations.

INSTRUCTION: All instruction will be a balanced combination of classroom lectures and “hands on” laboratory experience under the supervision of instructors who have extensive experience and expertise in their respective aerospace science fields. Field trips are planned, including a trip to Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama. Local flight experience/instruction will be provided by the Civil Air Patrol. Students are required to join the Civil Air Patrol as an Aerospace Education Member AEM Member, $35 lifetime membership dues.
